To have eyes like a blinking doll again

Wrinkles, droopy eyelids, circles or bags under the eyes? The skin around the eyes is the most delicate on the body, which is why the advancing years are the first to make their mark. However, younger clients also wish to rejuvenate this delicate area, often around the age of 30, when heredity, stress or an unhealthy lifestyle are the main culprits. Fortunately, plastic surgery can deal with imperfections of the eye area with an easy, safe procedure.
When the upper eyelid droops
Upper eyelid surgery is a popular procedure for both women and men. In addition to the aesthetic aspect, it has many health benefits, such as relief from eye heaviness and fatigue, headaches, or narrowing of the field of vision.
"Health reasons were the main motivation behind my decision to have eyelid surgery. My eyes often hurt. They were red, tired and swollen. For a long time, I blamed it on lack of sleep due to frequent nighttime wake-ups to my children. As the kids got older, there was more sleep, but the eye fatigue didn't improve. So I started looking for a solution and made an appointment at the MEDICOM Clinic." says satisfied client Hedvika (42)
Hedvika was therefore recommended upper eyelid blepharoplasty at MEDICOM Clinic in Brno. During the procedure, which takes about an hour and is performed under local anaesthesia, not only excess skin but also unsightly fat pouches are removed. "The patient and her companion can go home for treatment immediately after the procedure," added the plastic surgeon. There is no need to worry about scarring. Thanks to the correct placement in the natural eye fold and the use of the so-called subcutaneous or intradermal suture, they will be almost invisible within a few months.

Depressions or bags under the eyes
Under-eye circles, wrinkles or bags under the eyes can make our face look tired and aged. In the case of the lower eyelids, it is essential to maintain a resting regimen for the best results. This means spending as much time as possible lying down in the first few days after surgery to minimize the effect of gravity on the scars hidden in the eyelashes.
As with the upper eyelids, lower eyelid surgery is often performed under local anaesthesia. The procedure is painless and most clients chat with the surgeon during the procedure. However, if it is combined with another procedure, most often a facelift, then general anesthesia is recommended for comfort. This is also required for the "scalpel-free" method of lower eyelid surgery with the CO2 laser. The best solution is always recommended by the plastic surgeon during a personal consultation.
