Minilift is recommended for anyone who is concerned about the onset of loose skin, especially in the lower half of the cheeks. The procedure is suitable for women and men aged 40 and over, but also younger if they are concerned about sagging facial contours. The minilift is a gentler operation than a conventional facelift, so the healing and recovery is faster.

During the operation , we will tighten the skin in the facial area and remove the excess skin, strengthen the subcutaneous ligamentous-muscular apparatus and, if necessary, we can also perform liposuction of the chin. Recovery

Immediately after the procedure , observe a resting regimen and limit physical activity. Wear a compression bandage on your face for the first few days to help speed healing. Bruising and mild swelling are common, but these begin to subside during the first few weeks. Most clients can return to light office work in 7-14 days. Final results are visible within a few weeks, with durability of up to several years.

The course of the procedure

Consultation

The first step is to meet with the surgeon of your choice. You will discuss with him your ideas about the final result and together you will find the best possible solution.
You will also talk to the doctor about other procedures that can be combined with the facelift. Clients often undergo a mini facelift at the same time as eyelid surgery or chin liposuction. The doctor will make sure that no contraindications are present, such as heart disease or blood clotting disorders.

Preoperative examination

If you have already decided on the surgery at the initial consultation, you can immediately arrange with the surgeon for a pre-operative examination at our clinic and the date of the procedure itself.

Preparation for the procedure

Talk to your doctor in advance about the medications you normally take. Some medications may need to be discontinued or replaced before the procedure. Do not rub anything on the skin in the area to be operated on the day of the procedure; it should not be oily before surgery. Try to avoid stress and stay calm. A good mental state plays a role in recovery.

The course of the operation
